For RY NG, music has always been more than just a passion. It's a part of her story.
Born in the Philippines and raised across different parts of Southeast Asia, including Malaysia and Singapore, RY grew up surrounded by diverse cultures, musical influences, and creative perspectives. Coming from a family rooted in music, her love for the craft began at an early age and eventually became a defining part of who she is today.
But before becoming a music producer, creative director, and entrepreneur, RY was an artist herself.
Having experienced life on the other side of the industry, she understands the excitement of chasing a dream—and the challenges that come with pursuing it without the right guidance, opportunities, or support.
She knows what it feels like to have the passion and determination to succeed but not necessarily have someone there to help navigate the journey.
That experience stayed with her.
Rather than allowing it to define her limitations, RY turned it into motivation to learn, create, and eventually become the kind of person she once wished she had beside her.
Her journey led her beyond performing and into songwriting, composing, arranging, and music production. With a hands-on approach to her craft, she enjoys everything from developing melodies and producing instrumental arrangements to shaping the overall sound and creative identity of a record.
Outside the recording studio, RY built a multidisciplinary career spanning entertainment production, creative direction, digital marketing, branding, and project management. These experiences gave her a deeper understanding of both the artistic and commercial sides of entertainment.
Today, as the Founder and CEO of 6SK ENTERTAINMENTS, she brings those experiences together with a vision that is both creative and personal.
For RY, building an entertainment company was never simply about discovering talented individuals or producing successful records. It was about creating the kind of environment she understands artists need—one where talent is recognized, individuality is respected, and ambition is met with meaningful guidance and opportunity.
She believes that behind every promising artist is a person with a story, a dream, and the potential to become something extraordinary when given the right support.
Her approach to artist development combines the discipline of professional training with the understanding of someone who has personally experienced the challenges of being an artist. She values creativity, commitment, authenticity, and the importance of helping individuals discover their own artistic identities.
Whether she's behind the microphone, producing in the studio, developing creative concepts, or making executive decisions, RY remains deeply connected to the creative process.
And despite the many hats she wears, her perspective remains grounded in something simple: she has never forgotten what it feels like to be the artist hoping someone will believe in them.
Through 6SK ENTERTAINMENTS, RY hopes to bridge the gap between talent and opportunity, creating a space where emerging artists can develop their craft, find their confidence, and build meaningful careers.
