Every Dream Has a Beginning.
MELA is an emerging four-member Filipino P-pop girl group whose journey began through CamSur Pop Search, a talent discovery initiative of the Provincial Government of Camarines Sur, spearheaded by Governor LRay Villafuerte.
What started as an opportunity for aspiring performers soon became the beginning of something far greater.
Through demanding rehearsals, vocal training, dance sessions, performance development, and creative exploration, the four members began discovering what it truly takes to become professional P-pop idols.
The journey required patience, resilience, discipline, and the willingness to keep improving, even when the spotlight was nowhere in sight.
Along the way, four individual dreams became one shared ambition.
And that ambition became MELA.
FROM CAMARINES SUR TO THE P-POP STAGE
A Beginning Worth Remembering.
In May 2026, MELA took an important step in their journey when they were introduced to audiences during the KAOGMA Festival 2026 in Camarines Sur.
Sharing a milestone with fellow CamSur Pop boy group FUELLO, MELA performed "Init ng Vibe," bringing their emerging artistry to a major live-event stage.
For a group still at the beginning of its career, it marked the transition from preparation to performance — a first opportunity to show the public what months of dedication could become.
The lights, the music, the audience, and the energy of a live stage offered a glimpse of the future they were working toward.
It wasn't the end of their training story.
It was the beginning of a much bigger one.
